A depleted bare 15 Skegness men travelled away to Market Rasen this weekend to face their Wolfhounds XV.
Despite some resolute defending in the first half Rasen went into the break 12-0 up.
A faltering lineout, desperation to secure possession and an ever tiring team saw Rasen push home the advantage and complete the game with a scoreline of 34-0.
Positives came in the form of solid games for Hooker Joe Green and Winger Colin Jenkins. As well as a return to the 1st XV for club Stalwart Jamie Cameron.
With only 5 league games remaining sitting in a secure 7th Skegness will need to galvanise to push on and complete the season on a high.
Next week the men in blue and white travel away to Worksop who currently sit one place below them in the league.
